Margate City

Originally known as South Atlantic City, Margate is a small and quaint beach town. The city is perfect for those who want a nice and relaxing day,  but still have the opportunity to have an exhilarating night life at the nearby casinos and entertainment offered in Atlantic City. There are plenty of shops, dining like the amazing Steve & Cookies and Tomatoes, beautiful beaches, and other things to explore in town, including the historic Lucy the Elephant.

Longport sits on the southernmost land of Absecon Island, with Margate and the ocean/bay as its borders. There are many full-time residents and the town is away from a lot of tourist commotion. The town is great for outdoor activities, with plenty of beach, water, and parks nearby.

Ocean City

Rated #1 for “America’s Greatest Family Resort” for a reason, Ocean City is perfect for those with kids. There is plenty to do on the island. Explore the gorgeous beach and bay areas, have fun with amusement rides and games on the boardwalk, and enjoy the wide variety of mom and pop shops along Asbury Avenue. There’s always amazing events and entertainment in the summer, with the boardwalk’s Music Pier being the hotspot for it all.

Sea Isle City

Sea Isle is full of fun activities. It has a wonderful beach and a 1.5 mile oceanfront promenade with shops, arcades and other entertainment to enjoy. Nightlife is amazing with bars and clubs in close proximity. There are plenty of exciting events throughout the year for family adventures as well.

Sharing the 7 Mile Island with Stone Harbor, Avalon is a hot spot for beachgoers. The town is 1 mile farther into the ocean than its neighboring resorts, which is why it receives the slogan,  “Cooler by a Mile”. Enjoy the shops and restaurants on Dune Drive. Go on a scenic walk or bike ride around town. The town is home to numerous luxury homes with breathtaking views. It ranks among the most expensive zip codes in the country, according to Forbes.

Stone Harbor

Stone Harbor sits south of Avalon and is a luxury beach town. The 96th and 2nd shopping area is a great place to walk around. Stone Harbor is home to the Wetlands Institute, a bird Sanctuary that remains one of the few bird sanctuaries in the world that are completely within municipal boundaries, and one of the only movie theaters in the area. The town is great for people of any age and there is entertainment for all.
